Now that it is January I have made a resolution to try to get things ready early. For example, I won’t wait until people are arriving to check and see if I have charcoal for the barbecue. This also includes things like checking a reservation for a hotel or campsite. Do it ahead of time!

One thing that I know I have a problem with every summer is finding the hammock accessories when it is time to hang the hammock. Without the hammock accessories I am not able to start enjoying the hammock. I put them away every year thinking this is a good place to put for the winter. But then every spring I cannot remember where that good place is! This year I will look early.
