Also, I wish you all, a day of rest and being able to spend time doing whatever you love to do, with the special people in your life. And, lastly, maybe you are lucky enough to even receive a wonderful gift, such as a rope hammock, to enjoy all summer!
Today was just a perfect day for me! I knew the weather was going to be wonderful today, so I rolled out of bed at 6 am for a great five mile run. Then I spent a lot of time outdoors, honestly, just sunbathing in my rope hammock, chatting with my best, but far away, friend on the phone.
This evening ended with an outdoor dinner with our fun friends. Now, I am just hanging on my patio, counting all my blessings!
This morning, as we are taking a last walk along the promenade, I see a pink Brazilian Hammock on the porch of a purple house! How pretty it was!
As I said, those colors look great in Cape May! I would love to just crawl in that hammock and look out at the ocean!
This morning on our walk, I saw a beautiful yellow Mayan hammock on the porch of a beautiful sage green house, trimmed in white gingerbread trim. It was a beautiful picture-perfect setting, with bright purple pansies in pots all over the porch and down the sides of the stairs.
I wanted a picture so bad, but I didn’t want to be a stalker! There were people sitting at a cozy little round table sipping coffee or tea, and probably eating a delicious scone too! So I just took a picture with my mind…
These homes are maintained so beautifully, painstakingly so, I assume. I enjoy the gardens and the porches that are decorated with flowers and cozy furniture, and, of course, many of them have hammocks hung on the porch. I saw a perfect setting with a rope hammock today! I just wanted to knock on the door and ask if I could take a nap in their hammock!
He is risen! Praise God! I am thankful for my life He has given to me! I attended sunrise service this morning. It is such a spiritual time for me. It was a bit chilly too, but the sun did peek out for us!
I am thankful for this day to spend with my family. We are going to my sister’s house, who I rarely see, even though we live close. That is a little sad, but life isn’t perfect, and we love each other. In fact, I love her so much I gave her a Brazilian hammock last year!
Wow, March has been a lion lately! So very windy! I do not care for wind. The only time I like it is when it blows all my leaves away in the fall.
If I had my Mayan hammock out in the tree, this wind would have it so tangled up and twisted! I suppose March is known for being windy, so I will wait until April to get my back yard ready for spring.
It is 27 degrees out there! This time of year, a week from spring, I am still reminded by the freezing cold mornings, that it is, after all, still winter. I want to go for a run but I am over the cold, so I will just wait until it warms up later.
I am hoping it gets so nice today that, this afternoon, I can actually lay down in my macrame hammock and soak up a few sun rays, even if I have to wear a coat!
But I am always pushing the season at the end of winter. I tried, I really did, but I just have trouble liking winter! Now, I am just over it and ready to move on to getting my Mayan hammock in my favorite tree!
